Okay, this was my FIRST time baking with Tahini + I am more than impressed. Some of you may be asking, “what the heck is tahini?” So let’s cover the basics and then we’ll dive into this yummy recipe 🙂
Tahini is a paste made from toasted, ground sesame seeds. It has a light, nutty flavor. It’s best known as an ingredient in hummus but widely used in many dishes around the world, particularly in Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. So, hopefully now you have an idea of just how amazing tahini is for you! Although tahini is primarily used in hummus, it also makes for a great swap when baking with peanut butter! Which leads us to my ALMOND FLOUR TAHINI COOKIES!
