PB + Oat Energy Bites + HUGE SURPRISE!

??SURPRISE?? I launched a YouTube channel! My first ever video is the beginning of a series called Bake w/ Char! In case you’re new here, Charlotte is my 2 & a half year old who LOVES to bake + take foodie photos with me, so naturally she had to be in the launch of my channel. I plan to share short recipe videos, workout videos, workout wear hauls, maybe some travel vlogs + whatever else y’all want to see! Let me know in the comments what you want to see!

In this first video we are making our favorite PB + Oat Energy Bites. With only 6-ingredients, this recipe takes less than 10-minutes and is the perfect snack to have on hand during the week. I love to have one or 2 bites before an afternoon workout or after dinner for a sweeter, healthier treat!

Here’s what kitchen items you’ll need:

Reusable Baking Mat (this is not necessary, I just prefer to use this!)

Kitchen Aid Mixer

or

Mixing Bowl (I like that these have grippers and they’re pourable) + Wooden Spoon (This one has a corner scrapper!)

Now, onto the recipe!! Click HERE for video, but you’ll want to save this post for written instructions! PS—please hit the thumbs up and subscribe if you like the video! ??

In your kitchen aid or mixing bowl combine the following:

-1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats

3/4 Cup Nut Butter

1/8 Cup Ground Flax Seed

2 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup

1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips

1/2 Cup Craisins (can sub any dried fruit or nut options)

Mix until well combined. Form into balls and align on baking mat, plate or parchment paper. Let sit in fridge for 30 mins-1 hour to set then enjoy! Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for 5-7 days!
