Hello, 2021!
2020 left many of us feeling stressed, anxious and overwhelmed. Whether you lost your job, contracted the virus, lost a loved one or just suffered unexpected change, we all endured something challenging this year.
If I’m being honest, 2020 was a pretty great year for me personally. Through losing my job (thanks, COVID), the Lord was able to uncover some new and unexpected truths in my life. I was forced to surrender control – to step aside and let Him guide my steps. Through the waiting and uncertainty of what was next through my life, I was able to rest in the hope of the Lord’s promises for my life even when I couldn’t see my next steps. I put my { h o p e } in the Lord + knew my future was safe in His hands.

Romans 8:18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:24-25 “(24) For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already see? (25) But if we hope for what we cannot see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.”
I hope you enjoy this short, grounding meditation. Get comfortable in the practice of sitting and invite the presence of the Lord. Prepare your heart to be open during this time, in fact, pray diligently and ask the Lord to open your heart and your mind. PAUSE. BE STILL. GET GROUNDED. RECEIVE HIS PROMISES.
Thank you for following along and if you like the Meditation, please like, comment, share and subscribe… ALL THE THINGS, SISTER (or brother). Your support means the world to me and my little family!
